2011 első félévében Magyarország tölti be az Európai Unió Tanácsának soros elnökitisztségét. Az európai uniós gyakorlatnak megfelelően az elnökséget adó ország parlamentjemegrendezi a nemzeti parlamentek együttműködésének jegyében már hagyománnyá váltbizottsági elnöki konferenciákat .Engedje meg, hogy a Magyar Országgyűlés Önkormányzati és területfejlesztési bizottság,valamint a Fenntartható fejlődés bizottsága elnökeiként tisztelettel meghívjuk Önt a kétbizottság által közösen szervezett bizottsági elnöki találkozóra, melyre 2011. március 3-4-énkerül sor Budapesten, az Európai Unió Tanácsának magyar soros elnökségével összefüggőparlamenti rendezvények egyikeként .A találkozó helyszíne a Parlament Felsőházi terme lesz . Hungary will hold the rotating Presidency of the Council of the European Union in the firsthalf of 2011 . In line with the practice within the European Union and with a view to thecooperation among national parliaments, the Hungarian National Assembly will organize thetraditional meetings of parliamentary committee chairpersons .
