Secretaries of OSCE PA DelegationsCopenhagen, 20 July 2010Dear Colleagues,Following my announcement during the meeting of the Standing Committee at the AnnualSession in Oslo, I would like to again draw your attention to the fact that the OSCEParliamentary Assembly will try to deploy a number of election observation missions in theautumn of 2010. Currently, we are planning to observe the following elections:General elections in Bosnia and Herzegovina, 3 OctoberParliamentary elections in Kyrgyzstan, 10 October (date tbc)Midterm elections in the USA, 2 NovemberParliamentary elections in Azerbaijan, 7 NovemberElections in Moldova, (date expected to be set after the referendum in September).
I would like to inform you that we are also planning to hold a one-day seminar inWashington D.C. on ‘comparativeanalysis of election systems in the OSCE area’beforethe election observation mission to the elections in the USA.We are working on hotel arrangements and will circulate the usual registration and hotelbooking forms as soon as possible.I wish all of you a good summer.
