We would recommend that youdo so upon arrival in Stockholm. Participants are also advised to take out adequate healthinsurance.
Upon arrival at Arlanda Airport Stockholm, there are two options to travel from the airport tothe hotel:Option I –Highly Recommended:Take an Arlanda Express train, which runs from two stationsat the airport: Arlanda South and Arlanda North. This train runs directly to the StockholmCentral Station, which is located opposite the Scandic Continental Hotel. The journey will takeapproximately 20 minutes.From Stockholm Central Station, you take the main exit towards Vasagatan Street and you willsee the Scandic Continental Stockholm hotel opposite you. Cross the street and pass the trafficlights at Vasagatan.You can also take a taxi from the taxi rank immediately in front of Central Station. The journeyto the Scandic Continental hotel will take 2 minutes.Option II– Also Recommended: You can takethe Flygbussarna airport buses, which departfrom Terminals 2, 4 and 5. The closest bus stop for travellers travelling to or from Terminals 1and 3 is Terminal 2.Option III: Take a taxi from Arlanda Airport directly to the hotel. This option isNOTrecommendedas the distance is far and Swedish taxi rates are very high. Since the hotelis located in the centre of Stockholm the taxi ride may take between 45 minutes to anhour due to heavy traffic.Important NoteWe would like to receive your confirmed flight details i.e. the date, time and flight numberfor your arrival and departure.We wish you a pleasant stay in Stockholm.
