Dear Ms Gitte Lillelund BechI write to kindly remind you of our Policy Forum on the themeFighting the global recession’s storm: whatconsequences for European development cooperation?to be held in Brussels, Residence Palace, on 27May 2009.Your are kindly invited to participate in this event.During this Policy Forum, leading experts will analyze critical issues surrounding the global recession anddeveloping countries. This analysis will include the implications of the decisions made by the G20 and thoseformulated in EU policies. It will also include an analysis of recent recommendations made by the EuropeanCommission under the Communication “Supporting Developing Countries in Coping with the Crisis”.
