Invitation to a national high-level debate on
Speed management in Denmark
Dear Sir/Madam,
The Danish Road Safety Council (RFSF) and the European Transport Safety Council (ETSC) have the pleasure of inviting you to a national debate on road safety to be held at the Dansk Arkitektur Center, Strandgade 27B, DK-1401, Copenhagen on Wednesday 3rd September between 10.00am to 13.00pm. The event will be concluded with an informal buffet lunch kindly sponsored by Toyota Denmark.
The ETSC is an independent non-profit organisation dedicated to the reduction of the number and severity of transport crash injuries in Europe. The Council provides research-based advice on transport safety matters to EU-policymakers and national governments and organisations. It brings together 40 member organisations from across Europe, including the Danish Road Safety Council.
In the framework of its programme, the Road Safety Performance Index (PIN) www.etsc.be/PIN, the ETSC is organising a series of national debates, the PIN Talks. The Road Safety PIN Talk in Denmark, represents an outstanding opportunity to discuss the country’s road safety policy in a European context. Gathering top level representatives of major Danish organisations working in road safety, the event aims to acknowledge achievements and identify future challenges in the fight against speed in particular.
We would be delighted if you could attend. Please find enclosed an agenda for the day.
Please register before the 22nd of August at www.sikkertrafik.dk/PIN-talk and for more information please contact Ms. Kirsten Lage at RFSF (Tel.: +45 3916 3963 – [email protected]) or Mr. Marco Popolizio at ETSC (Tel.:+32 2 230 4106 – [email protected] ).
