HASTER !

    what volume  or at what rate do you anticipate the pellitizer could produce pellets..

        in the field

       on stationary site

      We could put up the $750,000 and develop it , if thats of interest >

Mr. Nielsen;

Thank you for your email and your interest in pelleting biomass for fuel. My business is in helping interested parties develop, design and work in production of fuel pellets with the emphasis on renewable raw materials. Biomass will and is playing a major part in this industry. I should first inform you that green biomass of any type cannot be pelleted in an economical fashion as you cannot  densify water. Most biomass must be dried down to below 20% HO for economical pelleting and the moisture further reduce to below 10% to get the heating value (btu) to a level that is preservable , storable and transferable. There have been a number of portable pellet systems developed that did not require drying, such as sun cured products, but even then, the rigors of pelleting on portable equipment has rendered all of them unprofitable to my knowledge. Please keep tying. Biomass is one of the answers.
