1975- 1985                                          FSLN National Reconstruction Government. Vice president of National Development Bank, Minister of Managua’s Reconstruction Board. Mayor of Managua.

 

1986 – 1992                                        Chairman of ADYSA and Editorial “El Amanecer” – publisher of newspaper “Barricada”

 

1992                                                    FSLN party, Secretary for Finance

 

Up to 2006                                          Member of Sandinist Council’s Political Committee and Secretary for International Relations, FSLN
