SUPPLEMENTARY ITEM ON NAGORNO KARABAKH 1.    Realizing that the conflict over Nagorno Karabakh is not a “ frozen conflict” as people continue to be killed at the line of contact and the refugees and IDP:s and the populations at large of Armenia and Azerbaijan suffer from the conflict, 2.    Bearing in mind that the OSCE Minsk Group is the forum for negotiations, 3.    Realizing that increased co-operation between Armenia and Azerbaijan supported by European and Euro-Atlantic structures will make it easier to find a lasting solution to the conflict, The OSCE Parliamentary Assembly 4.    Appreciates the active role played by the Delegations of Armenia and Azerbaijan to the OSCE PA in the process undertaken by the Assembly to help resolve the conflict and calls upon these Delegations to continue their efforts; 5.    Calls upon the governments of the states in the conflict to intensify their efforts to find a peaceful solution to the conflict in the near future; 6.    Calls upon the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs to continue their efforts in supporting the process to find an early peaceful solution; 7.    Highlights the positive role that Members of Parliament can play in mobilizing support among the population for a peaceful solution, and in this regard calls upon all Members of the Parliaments of Armenia and Azerbaijan to avoid heated rhetoric; 8.    Recommends that Armenia and Azerbaijan create a “win -win”  situation by making use of the offers available to integrate supported by the European structures.
