4 Practical Information 1. Venue The conference will be held at the Palais de l’Europe (Council of Europe headquarters) in Room 1 (2nd floor). 2. Hotels A list of hotels giving special rates for Council of Europe meetings is attached. Participants are requested to reserve their hotel room directly with the hotel of their choice, indicating that they wish to benefit from the Council of Europe rates. 3. Transport Transport from/to the Strasbourg airport will not be provided. 4. Registration Participants  are  requested  to  return  the  attached  registration  form  before  30  September.  There  are  no registration fees. Participants should arrive at the main entrance of the Palais de l’Europe, where badges will be distributed on presentation of an identity document (pre-registered participants only). 5. Working languages Simultaneous interpretation will be provided in English, French, German, Italian, Russian and Spanish. The working documents will only be available in English and French. 6. Visas Participants should check with the French Embassy/Consulate in their country  of residence as to  whether they need a visa to enter France. 7. Press The Conference is open to the press. 8.
