Africa Day for the Nordic Parliaments
The Nordic Africa Institute has the pleasure of inviting You to a seminar on the current
discourse on Africa. The purpose of the seminar is to invite parliamentarians and their colleagues
to discuss current affairs and policies on Africa, to introduce You to the resources of the Institute
and to provide ideas about how those resources can be exploited.
Established researchers will lead the discussions on different development issues such as Aids,
current conflicts and conflict resolution on the African continent. The seminar will also cover
development policies concerning aid dependency, coherence and partnership. The institute will
provide insight of micro- and macro level topics and present research results, and together with
the participants, explore how these best can be utilised. The seminar will also include an
introduction to the resources material and human of the institute, including recent
publications.
