silica cement or recrystallized silica with
no recognizable structure, very hard,
pyritic i/p, traces of carbonate
elements, traces of brownish micas,
traces included streaks of brownish
(Clay, iron oxides ?).
With intercations of:
CLAYSTONE/SHALE (1), off white with
abundant greyish streaks, soft,
amorphous. Rare to common clear
micas flakes up to 0.5 cm.
CLAYSTONE (2), light grey, very soft,
pasty, sticky and washable,
amorphous, calcareous i/p.
Rare SHALE (3), light brownish grey to
grey, very hard, blocky, micro
micaceous & micro pyritic (not seen as
cavings but likely coming from an
upper level).
From 3636m traces to rare foliated
rocks debris (Gneiss ?), often not
