Established in January 2017 after a merger of two
organisations, the Finnish National Board of
Education and the Centre for International Mobility

EDUFI developing education
works with the Ministry of Education and Culture
to develop educational aims, content and
methods for primary, secondary and adult
education
prepares the national core curricula and
requirements for vocational qualifications
steers implementation of curricula and explores
reform needs and undertakes various projects to
develop education
provides services for the education sector, such
as operating a national study programmes portal
and application service, publishing education
materials and providing in-service training

promotes internationalisation in education
